Upon the successful completion of one of your listings (i.e. your item has been sold), we will notify you with the final sale price (highest bid amount).  This is the final sale price of the equipment.  Our 10% commission is calculated using this final sale price. 

For example:
Your machine’s final sale price is $1,500.  We use the following formula to calculate our commission:  0.10 (10%) x $1,500 = $150 commission owed to EquipmentButler.com. 

We will collect the funds from the customer, retain our commission, and send you a check or wire transfer for $1,350 ($1,500 final sale price - $150 commission to EquipmentButler.com).

If multiple items are sold, the commission to EquipmentButler.com will be based on the summation of all of the of the item’s final sale price.

Upon winning an auction, we will send you an email informing you the winning bid amount you placed for that specific equipment.  This is the final sale price of the equipment.  Our 2.5% commission is calculated using this final sale price.

For example:
The final sale price of the item you successfully won is $1,000.  We use the following formula to calculate our commission: 0.025 (2.5%) x $1,000 = $25 commission owed to EquipmentButler.com.

We will send you an invoice for $1,025 ($1,000 final sale price + $25 commission to EquipmentButler.com).  Upon our receipt of full payment, we will forward the final proceeds to the seller.

If multiple items are purchased, the Buyer’s Premium to EquipmentButler.com will be based on the summation of all of the of the item’s final sale price.
