How to list your item(s) for Sale

Listing your item is Easy! All sellers must first be registered to the website. Not registered? No problem, Click here to register now.

If you are registered, please follow these simple instructions.

Before submitting your item, please read through our terms and condition to find out what you are not allowed to sell.

Step 1 – Click on the Sell Button.

Step 2 – Login to your Account.

 

Step 3 – Select the best Category for your item.

1. Begin by selecting the broadest category. As you select a category, the next list will become more detailed. If you do not find an adequate category for your description, please contact us to let us know.

Step 4 – Select Listing format.

1. Select the type of listing format you wish to use to sell your item(s). Options include:

a. Auction

i. You have Buy It Now

ii. Reserve Price

b. Dutch Auction

c. Fixed Price Sale

2. Verify your Category. This is the category and/or sub-category where your listing will be located. If you made an error selecting your category, use the “Back” button on your browser to select a new category.

3. Select your Preferred Currency. This is the currency in which the item price will be displayed.

4. Select from the Drop down menu the area which best describes where your item will be shipped from.

Step 5 – Enter Starting, Reserve and Buy Now Prices.

1. Enter the title of your listing (e.g. Angelus® model 60L can seamer). Pay attention to title and description.

2. Enter the Starting Price - The lowest acceptable price for your listing (unless you specify a Reserve). It’s important to set a reasonable starting price – set it too high and you may discourage bidders.

3. Enter Reserve Price

4. Enter Buy Now Price

5. Drop Down Menu: Seller will load onto truck, Buyer must pay for removal and loading, Contact seller for details

6. Select the condition of the machinery.

7. Enter a detailed description about the item(s) for sale. Make your auction attractive by adding as much detail of your item as possible. Include up to 3 photos for each item free of charge.

If Dutch Auction or Fixed Price Sale is Selected:

1. Title

2. Enter the quantity of items to be sold.

3. Starting Price

Step 6 – Select other Options for your Listing.

 

1. Select the Listing duration (number of Days to Run). This is the number of days your item will be listed on our website before expiring.

Adding Images - You can add images when you list an item. You can also edit a listing to include additional images.

Images must be in .jpg or .gif format.

To upload an image (from the 'Sell an Item' form):

2. Click "Browse"

3. Locate the image file on your computer

4. Select the file name

5. Click "Open"

To change an image (from the 'Sell an Item' form):

1. Check the box marked "Delete"

2. Click "Browse"

3. Locate the image file on your computer

4. Select the file name

5. Click "Open"

The images that you choose for your listing can be interchanged. If you do not like the original image order, you can rearrange them by changing their sequence number.

The following fields are optional:

• Home Page Featured
• Category Featured
• Gallery Listing
• Highlight Listing
• Bold Listing

Step 7 – Review & Confirm the Information you entered.

1. Closely review the information you entered in the previous pages. If you find an error, click the “back” button at the bottom of the page to make changes.
2. If the information is correct, click “Post Item” button.

Cancel a Listing - There are two ways to cancel an active listing. You can:

• End the listing early OR
• Delete the listing

To End a listing early (immediately):

1. login to your account
2. Access your My Account/My Auctions menu
3. Select the "Selling" tab
4. Select [edit item]
5. Scroll to the bottom of the Edit Item page
6. Type the word "End" into the appropriate text field
7. Click the button "End Early"

To Delete a listing (immediately):

1. login to your account
2. Access your My Account/My Auctions menu
3. Select the "Selling" tab
4. Select [edit item]
5. Scroll to the bottom of the Edit Item page
6. Type the word "Delete" into the appropriate text field
7. Click the button "Delete Item"
